Class 1-5
Candidates must meet any of the following educational qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks + B.Ed.
Bachelor’s Degree in any stream + Diploma in Elementary Education.
10+2 with 50% marks + 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education.
10+2 with 45% marks + 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per the 2002 norms.
10+2 with 50% marks + 4-Year B.El.Ed. Degree.
Master’s Degree with 55% marks + 3-Year B.Ed.-M.Ed. Degree.
Candidates must also have qualified CTET Paper I or BTET Paper I.
Class 6-8
Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:
Graduation + 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed.).
Graduation/Post Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed.
Graduation with 45% marks + B.Ed. as per NCTE norms.
Graduation with 50% marks + B.A. B.Ed. or B.Sc. Ed.
Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed. in Special Education.
Post Graduation with 55% marks + 3-Year B.Ed.-M.Ed. course.

Graduation/Post Graduation in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks + B.Ed.
Graduation/Post Graduation in the relevant subject with at least 45% marks + B.Ed., as per the 2002 norms.
4-Year B.A.Ed. or B.Sc.Ed. degree.
Candidates must have qualified the STET Paper I examination.

STET Paper I qualified in the relevant subject.
